I am a Brand Ambassador for the #BagsonaMission Brand Ambassador Program, which allows me to create content, review products, and share the latest and greatest with you all. If you purchase an RRiveter product using my referral link, I may receive rewards or products.
It’s hard to believe that 2017 is FOUR MONTHS away from being over. This year has been incredibly jam-packed for our family already. We celebrated at the beginning of the year with finding out we will be moving to Vietnam in 2018, I finished Grad School with Master’s in Curriculum and Instruction, we welcomed our 3rd son, we moved from Kentucky to the DC area, and our oldest will be starting Kindergarten in two weeks.
Yes, the military life is crazy.
I often get the “omg, I don’t know how you do it.” And honestly, me either. As a military family we get some news -- sometimes we complain or we cry happy tears, we figure out our next steps, sometimes throw a tantrum, and move on. We try not to dwell on the negative of “daddy’s job”. While Daddy’s mission is to “fight the bad guys” and "protect the good guys" our mission at home is to support one another because at the end of the day everyone in the family is working together for something bigger than ourselves. For me, working together has always produced better results than doing everything by yourself. With that being said, I’m suuuuper pumped for this announcement… !!!!!
I’m so excited to announce that I will be partnering with R. Riveter to help spread their mission “To Inspire, Engage, and Empower”. R. Riveter American Handmade brand captures the humble, courageous, and revolutionary spirit of Rosie the Riveter. R. Riveter manufactures classic handbags and accessories, home décor, and other accessories.
As a military spouse I totally get how frustrating it is to pick up and move your life and everything you established after a few years. So Cameron Cruse and Lisa Bradley, the founders of R. Riveter, created a company that allowed Military Spouses to find flexible, mobile income. Each R. Riveter bag is hand stitched, hand cut, and hand crafted by American Military Spouses.

They started the business in Georgia in an attic with a sewing machine and a mission. In 2014, a Kickstarter campaign brought R. Riveter to life. A year later, they opened up a store in Southern Pines, NC. In February 2016, Cameron and Lisa appeared on ABCs Shark Tank where they walked away with a partnership deal and an investment from Mark Cuban. After appearing on Shark Tank, the R. Riveter shop in Southern Pines, NC got a make over. A brand new warehouse was built where Remote Riveters from across the country send can send their parts and pieces. At the warehouse, named The FabShop – so cute, the bags are assembled and shipped off to their new homes.
