Styling the Bump

Pregnancy is one of those fickle things where you either feel amazing or you feel like death. There is no happy medium. One of the things that helped me feel “normal” was not dressing like a complete bum 24/7. Like, dressing in normal clothes. Yes, it sounds very simple – but when you’re hormonal, sick, and growing a human, dressing in normal clothes is a WIN.

I’m the type of person that commits to clothes. If I buy it, I have to picture myself wearing it for at least 5 years. So naturally, I don’t have many maternity clothes. I have some, but I would opt to purchase loose fitting clothes that I could wear post partum and when I’m not pregnant anymore.

These are just a few outfit ideas for your second trimester, third trimester, and postpartum. It gives inspiration for mixing your wardrobe with maternity pieces. Styling the bump will offer outfit ideas for your growing belly while keeping comfortable. I hope you enjoy this journey, you create a vision for dressing and styling your bump!
