Cilantro Garlic Shrimp

Hello, my name is Justine and my family and I are obsessed with garlic and cilantro. Please help. The picture might seem like a lot of garlic and cilantro, because it is. I diluted the recipe for people that don’t have the same taste buds.

Ingredients:

Salt and Pepper to taste

2 TB Olive Oil

¼ cup of Rice Wine Vinegar

3 Garlic Cloves, chopped

Cilantro (to your liking)

1.5 pounds of thawed shrimp, extra large, peeled, and deveined (1 bag)

1. Warm your skillet on medium heat before putting in oil. Once the pan is ready, coat the pan with olive oil. When the oil starts to shimmer, drop in the chopped garlic and cook until it becomes soft.

2. Add shrimp and cook until shrimp is half way done, you can tell because the shrimp is still a bit see through.

3. Add chopped cilantro, rice wine vinegar, salt and pepper, and continue cooking until shrimp is done. You can tell when the shrimp is done because it is pink and no longer translucent.

The sauce from this dish is yummy with rice or dipped in bread. You can substitute the rice wine vinegar for lime or lemon. But oldest son thinks the tang from the lemon/lime juice is “too spicy” and will refuse to eat it.
